Thanks for attending Open House

Thanks so much for taking time out of your busy schedule to attend open house last night. It was nice meeting you. I forgot to mention to all my classes but did put it in the letter if you want my cell phone number email me or call the school and I will give it to you. I know we work the same schedule and it can be hard to call during the school day.

Week of Sept. 14- 18 Open House Thursday

RCHS OPEN HOUSE Thursday September 17, 2009 6-8

Learning Lab:
Daily activity.Work on individual class assignments,goals and objectives.
Thursday is Constitution Day. Complete one activity for credit.
Grade sheets were passed out and need to be signed by parents and returned by Monday Sept. 21 for credit.
Friday: Collect daily logs and give points for assignment book.
Need to complete TLP informal assessment sheet and turn in by Friday Sept 25,2009

Government
Monday: Read Ch 2 page 14 -16 Do Check your understanding questions p.17,20,23,You decide ( 5 sentences) Page 25
Tuesday Review questions page 26-27 and worksheets 4,5,6,7
Wednesday: Core democratic values foldable.
Thursday: Constitution day activity and finish foldables.
Friday: Finish constitution activity.

You just finished your first week of school and hope it was great!

Government
Tuesday: Class Rules 1/2 day schedule
Wednesday: Pass out books and Unit one Vocabulary (due day of test)
Thursday: Read Chapter one -Video stream
Friday: Discuss and review Ch 1 - Worksheet activity 1 and 2 and Remember 9/11

Learning Lab:
No quotes this week or Word of the Day.
Went over rules and schedules.
The importance of bringing your work to class and communicating with me what you need help with.
Student are to keep their assignment books daily and will be graded weekly.
I will send grade sheets home on Thursdays and students are to return them for a grade on Monday with a Parent signature.
